A “guarantee deposit” will be required at the time of vehicle pick up. This amount is additional to the rental cost you pay online. This deposit is processed as a hold in the client’s credit card, not a direct charge or purchase.

We don't charge any fee for adding extra drivers. But all additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the primary driver and must be registered before the time the vehicle is delivered.

Cancellations made 48 hours before the rental date are free of charge. For cancellations made less than 48 hours before, a fee may apply.

Our standard fuel policy is full-to-full. You will receive the car with a full tank of gas and are expected to return it with a full tank. Otherwise, refueling charges will apply. If you prefer, we offer you the option during the reservation that we can refuel for you when you return the car for a fixed cost.

Renters and drivers must be between 25-75 years old. Renters and drivers must hold a driver’s license for a minimum of 1 year before attempting to rent with us. 

Unless the chauffeur service is included in the reservation or is a Shuttle service, prior planning that you want to leave the country to take a tour to Nicaragua or Panama, our cars cannot be driven outside the borders of Costa Rica by the client.
